Entry to Practice Programs in Nursing: Contributions to Learning, Direct Patient Care and Health Systems
The Council of Deans of Nursing and Midwifery sponsored a comprehensive research project exploring how clinical placements can enhance or inhibit learning and health service delivery outcomes for students, clinical facilitators and service providers. Including insights from four universities and four health service providers, the report provides critical insights into the current state of work-integrated learning for nursing students and offers roadmaps towards an enhanced clinical placement experience for all key stakeholders.
